Eric Terrazas - Head Coach

​Eric Terrazas wrestled for the University of Illinois from 2008-2012 and was a four year varsity starter at 149lbs. Terrazas was a 3x Big Ten Place winner and 2x NCAA Qualifier. Terrazas placed 3rd in the Midland Championships, 2nd at University Nationals in Freestyle and competed in the 2011 World Team Trails during his college career. At Wheaton North High School, Terrazas placed 3rd both as a junoir and senior at the IHSA State Championships. Terrazas placed 4th at senior nationals and 7th at Fargo Nationals during his high school career. 

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Terrazas begin his coaching career at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. During his 5 seasons as an assistant coach in wrestling, the Wheaton wrestling program accomplished feats it hadn't achieved in decades. In 2014, Wheaton finished with it's first winning season since 1998 with a duel record of 11-1. That same year as a team, Wheaton won the CCIW Championships; the first team title in 34 years. Terrazas coached 17 CCIW individual champions, 15 national qualifers and 5 All-Americans.

Terrazas is currently the Offensive Coordinator at Indiana Wesleyan University. Eric and his wife Sarah reside in Marion, Indiana.
